Cycles of Sound is an album over a year and half in the making. It's my most varied and experimental album yet, delving deep into ambient soundscapes in places as well as featuring a few modular synth tracks at the end. It is also my final release that will have been made entirely on an iPad. Even though I upgraded to Logic Pro in February 2022 I deliberately still finished the album using iOS GarageBand, as a swan song to the software I've been creating music with for 9 years now.

This is a double album, Tracks 1-11 and 12-22 are intended as separate disks. The first five tracks were written as a five track EP in March 2021 and I added more and more tracks over the course of 2021 until I had enough for an album. By the end of that year pretty much most, if not all, the tracks were written.
I've always found that I can write a track super fast but the process of mixing can be really lengthy due to my perfectionism with making everything sound as good as it can be. 2022 ended up with a lot of procrastination only occasionally interspersed with tiny bits of progress due to the sheer scale of the project. Eventually I finally sat down and got everything to a place I was happy with. I'm super satisfied with how it all came together in the end.

Special thanks go to Chris Wilson who did an incredible job on the mastering for Delta that really made that track shine and Sam who came up with several of the track names.
